My left eye was really red from sleeping in contacts too... Just take them out, and throw them away. Put your glasses on for a day or so, and the redness will go away. Constantly keep putting your opti-free solution in your eye (without contacts in). It will disinfect any bacteria that is keeping the redness there. Also, don't sleep in your contacts because it does not allow your eyes to get any oxygen, and it forces the blood vessels to raise. That is why your eye is so red.
