Can I Bath My Child With Chicken Pox?

You can bathe a child who has chicken pox. Make sure the water is just luke warm. Just gently pour the water over the child taking care not to knock any scabs off. Gently fold them in a towel and allow to dry - do not rub! If you knock scabs off they could scar the child.

I hope you had chicken pox as a child as adults can get shingles from an infected child. Shingles are very painful.

Bathing a child with water is usually more successful. You could try bathing it in chicken pox, or even chicken gravy, but it won't get clean. Rock on.
