If your partner has herpes either by HSV1, HSV2 or warts due to HPV, then there is every chance of its transmission in you. Because it requires skin contact. Even condom can not protect its transmission. Please note, the herpes virus can be symptom less and still can be transferred. So avoid sex with those who have multiple sex partners.

If you have intercourse with someone who has herpes, your chances of contracting herpes are quite high.  I recommend going to your doctor and being tested.  That way you'll at least have the decency to tell those you are intimate with that you have herpes.  If you're uncomfortable doing this you may try dating other singles with herpes, this allows you to avoid the sometimes tense emotions that can result from having "the talk" with those you are planning on becoming intimate with.  I hope everything turns out alright for you.  Good luck.
