If they have it and the sores are oozing you get it, everyone has the virus in themselves, (cold sores, sty's of the eye, etc. are forms most common). There are no known antibodies in the human body. Just use protection and stay clear if the cycle is starting and make sure the other person is clean. If you are unsure DON'T have sex, not oral or even by hand. Because you can still transmit it to yourself.
