My 83 year old dad was recently diagnosed with bone cancer. He just came come and we are using Hospice care. He has an estimated 6 month or less to live. Look into getting help with Hospice. It is covered under a lot of health insurance policy and also sometime done for free based on your situation. Hospice told us that as long as a person is diagnosised with a terminal illness by a doctor they will provide service. It doesn't matter the specific life expectancy, it could 1 week or 1 year +. Every several months they touch base with the doctor and if he confirms you still have a termial illness and not in remission ect....the care is continued. I am truly sorry to hear of your illness.
