This a very general question that unfortunately does not have any single answer.

The prognosis (how long one is expected to survive) for people with "bone cancer" really depends on several factors:

What kind of cancer is it? Is it the bone marrow that is involved in the cancer (meaning is it leukemia, multiple myeloma or other related cancers)?

What stage is the cancer? Staging of cancer is dependent on factors such as number and location of tumours, cell origin, and how fast the cancer cells are reproducing themselves.

How old is the patient, and how sick are they? Otherwise healthy children with a specific type of leukemia have about an 85% chance of a cure for their cancer. Older adults (over 70) with kidney damage who have multiple myeloma are not so lucky.

The best idea is to talk to your doctor. They have the information necessary to tell you what you need to know. Urge them to be honest with you, if that is what you want.

For more general information on types of bone and bone marrow cancers and their general survival rates, I would recommend the American Cancer Society website as a good starting point for your research.

I'm sorry to hear this, but I think you should specify your question, what's your status? You got bone cancer in which part of your body. My classmate of primary school got bone cancer on the leg, when she diagnosed of the cancer, the dr. Said her illness has reached an advanced stage. She chose the amputation at that time,(the whole leg)  but now I'm a undergraduate, I heard she was all right for now a few days ago. So I suggest meds+optimism+regular exercise.  Hope it helps a little .    Good luck!
