Sulfacetamide sodium is an anti infective and inhibits the growth of folic acid producing bacterial enzymes and is used for curing infections related to the eyes. Red eye or pink eye is a condition that is medically known as conjunctivitis and is caused by allergic reactions, infections and even exposure to ultraviolet light and radiation. In case of a bacterial infection eye ointment containing sulfacetamide sodium can be used.

Yes. Sulfacetamide Sodium 10% every 2 hours for 2 days, every 4 hours for 12 days after that.

I prefer ciprofloxacin myself. But I can get a big bottle of Sulfacetamide easily.
