If you find an answer let me know because I have the same sensation in my left ear. It's almost as though there is menthol rub inside my ear or cold air blowing in it.

Ditto, I have exactly the same sensation of a cold topical rub in my left ear. It goes away briefly if I touch it with a q-tip or something similar, and then it comes back
