Yes it can! I have had fibro for about 19 years and while it was horrible the first couple of years...not to many good days, at this point in time I ache, but I only have two or three times a year that I am under the blankets in bed for a week or so. Exercise( I am going to ache a bit no matter whether I excercise or not so I might as well take control of my body where I can), losing weight and deciding that life is not a rehearsal and I can be a victim of fibro or I can plundge ahead and live as well as I can! Yes there are days when I want to whine and give up, but life is too short. God has allowed this in my life for a reason and with His help, I can still have joy.

Yes. I will have several days in a months time where I'm having a "good day". I would say maybe 5 days a month are pretty good. I have learned, though, to not do to much on my good days, for it causes me to have several more bad days. My pain also switches from dull to throbbing quite often throughout the day. I never know how I will feel when I wake in the morning.

Yes it does. It can go into remission for awhile, then comes back depending how you are taking care of yourself. It's anon going progressive disorder of your muscles and nerve ending. I hope this helps. Carol P. Kirkland Lake On. Take Care

There are times when I feel like my pain will let up for two are three days.  What I mean about letting up is that the  pain is not  grinding in the muscles where you can barely function in every day life but it leaves your entire body sore, but movable. After a day or two the deep muscles grinding pain comes right back.
In other words, you can not enjoy the two or three days you are sore for worrying every moment whether are not  the grinding misery is returning.

I have found the the best thing I can do for myself is stay absolutely gluten-free! Tough to do but every time I go off this diet and go back to bread and bagels, my muscles feel that every fibre is rubbing and stretching to the breaking point. Including my brain muscle!

I know this is not a diet that many people can stand or understand but for me it really works. Oh and don't forget a bit of exercise every day!
