Surprisingly enough, lack of sleep can cause a lot of different health problems including psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia and depression. It can even affect your eyesight if the insomnia is bad enough and goes on for an extended period of time.

A person with this problem will find that on the days that they are better rested, they will be able to see better. However, on the days where they get less sleep, they will not be able to see as clear. This is not usually the case with people who miss a few hours sleep here and there, however.

charlax, maybe some of the commentators didn't understand your question.
You asked at least 3 questions but used only one sentence and one question mark.
I did not know what you meant by "could it also be the beating eye suffered"
This is why I did not answer your question.

I have pain in and around my eyes and when I rub them they hurt. I have not been able to sleep through the night in approx. Two months, I am up and down the entire night due to issues in my life. Can this be the reason why I have pain in and around my eyes.
