My best friend got Guillain-barre after she had gastric bypass 3 yrs ago and she is going WONDERFUL!!!! It takes a lot from you but if you keep your head high and believe than you will over come it. It took her almost a yr to get over it, she still has some minor symptoms such as hands shaking and feet being tender.....people recover different but just remember you can't give up!!!
