The answer is yes, under the right conditions; however, to create those proper conditions does not require a great deal of effort. Or, to put the answer another way, it would only be necessary to put a little time and effort in an attempt to contract such an infection. The opposite would, more than likely, be a bit different. The scenario to which I refer is just a common, everyday, routine bacterial transmission and infection that does not require any unusual or heroic treat-ment measures, nor does it involve any viruses, or other exotic "life-forms". Such an involvement could change the whole picture of the necessary time, effort, medical know-ledge and training.
