Have you asked your oncologist? He "may" give you an estimate. Many doctors will not give estimates any longer. They sometime give an answer that is somewhat unsatisfactory, if you want numbers. Many times they will say something like, "It is not up to me nor can I out guess God." More and more, the medical professionals are acknowledging the limitations they have and the limitless powers that God has. Your time remaining is not known to any man on this earth. The best you can do is to make the best of your remaining time. Spend as much time as you can with your loved ones and do not be bashful about telling them how much they have meant to you. Spend some quality time on your knees calling out to our God to give you the courage you need to face this most difficult time. Make your peace with God and in return he will give you the peace you need to face your destiny. God loves you, He will be with you in your time of need. I have something on my bulletin board above my computer that I look at each and every time I sit down. It reads:
WHEN WE COME TO THE EDGE OF THE LIGHT WE KNOW AND ARE ABOUT TO STEP OFF INTO THE DARKNESS OF THE UNKNOWN, OF THIS WE CAN BE SURE....GOD WILL PROVIDE SOMETHING SOLID TO STAND ON OR WE WILL BE TAUGHT TO FLY. The author is unknown. The message is priceless.
