It could be but it usually starts in the front in the right upper quadrant or right below the bottom of the sternum and radiates around like a belt or stabs straight through. Push in the areas of where I said it originates at and see if you are tender then it could be. If you move around and bend your back and it is tender in the back it probably is your back. You have to see your doctor to make sure.
