A person who is a TB carrier means that he or she has the TB bacteria in his or her system however x-rays come up normal and therefore no symptoms are present which means that this individual is not able to give TB to another person.....The only risks that may be present with a TB carrier is with offspring. If only one parent is a TB carrier, offspring has a 25% chance to be a TB carrier.
Um I'm 13 years old. I'm a carrier of TB I took some kind of pills to prevent the disease from affecting me, everyday for about 6 months (there were quite a few days that I forgot). I asked my mom if I could expose it to anyone else but she said no. After reading this response I'm feeling a little bit iffy. I go to school like a normal kid. Maybe my TB is not as advanced or something? Please respond quickly.
If a person is a carrier of TB, it could be exposed to some one else.
It normally transfers through the mouth so a carrier should cover his mouth and refrain from meeting with people.
