There is no set time for length of life after being diagnosed with Aids, because there are many medications used to treat Aids, and there are complications that may set in with this disease. People typically die from the complications related to Aids, such as pneumonia, etc. Every individual is different in terms of how long they might live.

I am divorced man since 6 years ago and I am positive about 3 years ago , I have to girls one of 16 and 12 , When is the correct moment to tell them that I am HIV positive I have excellent health , bu I belive they should be adults to know about it

I have lived 10 years by taking meds. I suspect many people will live an average life span with therapy.

At first people with HIV live for 7 year but now with the help of drug people or patients can live for 24years only if you are taken your drug correctly.

Well according what I have been researching you can live up to 24 so far...MOST of the people only live up to 24yrs :D

W/o treatment, people infected with HIV can expect to develop AIDS 8-10 years after HIV infection. With treatment, it can take 10-15 years or more before you develop AIDS. People can live for many more years after developing AIDS.
