You have not mentioned that lung nodules are benign or cancerous. The benign lung nodules are harmless and are usually due to infection like bacteria. TB also cause this. The cancerous lung nodule or benign lung nodule which can develop in to cancerous nodule is removed surgically. It has very good prognosis if removed on early stages.
