Your sinus on the left side of your face can hurt from a sinus infection or from allergies. Or even from a cold or flu. If it hurts for a prolonged period of time or if you have yellow/green mucus discharge then you need to go to the doctor, because chances are you need an antibiotic. If it worries you at all it is always comforting to have a doctor look at it. Good luck.
