Does Coconut Shampoos And Conditioners Rid Head Lice?

Some communities in my location are using pure coconut for their hair. Some still have lice.  
The manufactured coconut shampoo & conditioners probably have ingredients that are used to get rid of lice. So it's not the coconut but the added chemicals that are effective.
